Construction of structural steel for the machine as well as Trolley and Gripper arms etc. It’s a very complex machine that can handle 3 interconnected drill pipes and place them in a fingerboard or on the drill string.

You can almost compare the smart rack with a huge robot arm that can turn around itself as well as move up and down and in and out.

In addition to the Gripper arm itself, there are 2 minor support arms.
