Test rig for National Oilwell Varco in Søgne, Norway. The test rig was made to test run equipment for pipe handling equipment. 

We have designed and calculated the test rig and prepared the project for the tendering process.

We won the contract and were responsible for production and assembly work

Since then, we have designed, constructed, produced and assembled two additional rigs.

We used 110 tonnes of steel for this rig which is 50 m tall. The square dimensions are 12.4 x 12.4 m.

The rig was made based on NOV specifications, and loads according to NS standard. The calculation was based on Eurocode, EC3.
