HSM has designed, constructed, produced and installed a new passenger gangway for Stena Line in Grenaa.


The gangway works as a "matchbox" which is extended and connects to the ferry as it arrives. The ferry port opens automatically when the gangway is connected to the ferry. The gangway is a simplified version of the previous model which makes it more open and light. Safety is a key issue which means that the gangway has a non-skid coating as well as excellent lighting.


The Danish Queen Margrethe will be using the gangway as she opens the Anholt Havmøllepark on 4 September.
