HSM Industri was in charge of the steel contract. 

The project includes the bridges Hærvejsbroen and Biblioteksbroen, the stair Hærvejstrappen, 2 small stairs, 3 passenger lift towers and 1 km of railings.

The first part of Hærvejsbroen is divided into two sections of respectively 55 and 80 tonnes. The bridge elements have been manufactured at our factory in Grenaa and subsequently transported to Viborg in 4 parts. After the arrival to the building site in Viborg, the bridge parts were welded together lengthwise. 

The manufacturing of the second and last section of the bridge Hærvejsbroen is still in progress and we expect to install the 73 tonnes heavy bridge during the month of August 2018.
