Modernization of the stage room to optimize the technical possibilities and thereby create a flexible composition of the audience to match the individual theater production.

HSM has produced and installed a free-standing thin and elegant steel construction called the “spider” that follows and supports the original shape of the building. The design replaces the previous rig for lighting and scenography.It gives the audience a clear view to the stage and restores the experience of the beautiful dome room.   

In total, approx. 140 tonnes of steel have been used.
Including: one center ring (Ø6 meter, approx. 2.1 meter high, weight 12 tonnes),
16 pcs. of steel roof trusses (18 meter long and 3.4 meter heigh)
All steel roof trusses were lifted in place by a wire lifter.
16 pcs. of steel legs (each 14.6 meter long and weighs 1,700 kg).
